The 2012 Theme is
“Valley of Flowers Celebrates 50 Years of Festivals”
The Valley of Flowers Festival has been celebrated every year since it started in 1963. 2012 marks the 50th year of the celebration.
Parade Floats Select a Theme
Parade participants may pick a theme from any of the prior festival themes to decorate their unit. For a complete list of prior year themes, click here>>
At the Duchesne Knights of Columbus Grounds. There are adult and children’s carnival rides, carnival games to challenge everyone, and delicious food.
The crowning of the Valley of Flowers Queen and her Court takes place on Sunday after the Grand Parade.
At the Eagan Center. There are rides, musical performances, home improvement booths, health information, and a children’s area.
Other Venues, There are baseball games, a car show, a “Tot Wheels” Parade, and of course on Sunday afternoon, the Grand Parade, a real highlight of the festival.
